I create art to promote a kinder, more colorful world. I like the beautiful truths and to illuminate the wonders of nature. My art is my love and prayers made visible.

I have been a maker for as long as I can remember. I am compelled to create and help others create, whether-it be a painting, a sculpture, a garden, a teenager or a child.

My art career started in Colorado in 1972.  As a self taught artist, I utilize the airbrush to make murals, illustrations, product design and fine art paintings. I also paint with pastels, make mobiles and sculpt with porcelain. I am a published children’s book illustrator and author. (“Here on Earth” and “maggie and milly and molly and may” both published by Pomegranate).

Fellow artist, Meg Biddle and I co- founded Youth Arts Collective, an after school art studio and mentoring program for teen and young adult artists in Monterey County, founded in 2000. Our motto is "Do art. Be kind". www.yacstudios.org

We have happily made Monterey our home for 28 years.
