Totem: Personal symbols using natural elements that hold universal meaning. I have spent a lot of time in the garden and find so many questions answered there. This was my first totem painting. It was a time of new beginnings for me. I had the vision of it at Point Lobos one day. I wanted to depict the chakras through the pure color of flowers and small creatures.
