Here on Earth...An Alphabet of Animals

I created the series"Here on Earth..." for three main reasons. I taught kindergarten through my twenties and I love kids. The combination of visuallly stimulating images and alliteration, the audial repetition of sounds of the particular letter helps kids learn the sounds of the alphabet much better and quicker than most methods. To help children learn to read is one of my greatest aspirations. I feel the old "A is for apple" is not giving kids anywhere to go with their imaginations and questions. This series includes over ninety different creatures that inhabit this planet with us. "Here on Earth" is also about being responsible, compassionate and conscious caretakers.
